Step 1: Reach Out—Your Way

Getting started is easy. You can request a free estimate through one of our online forms, give us a call, or even send us a message on social media—whatever works best for you. However you found us, we’re glad you did!


Step 2: Schedule Your Free Consultation

Once we hear from you, a team member from our office will give you a call to set up your free consultation with one of our experienced outdoor specialists. This is where your vision starts to take shape.


Step 3: Meet Your Specialist

On the day of your appointment, your specialist will come to you. This visit is all about getting to know your project goals, space, and style.

  • We’ll walk the space together, take measurements, and discuss logistics.

  • Your specialist will consider your vision, your budget, and the overall style and atmosphere you’re going for.

  • We’ll help you begin the design process, including color and material selections.

  • Depending on the complexity of the project, we’ll provide either a same-day or next-day estimate that includes a design drawing and a detailed price breakdown.

  • Need to tweak the layout, color, or materials? No problem. We work with you to ensure the final design is tailored to your style and your budget.


Step 4: Lock It In (No Stress!)

When you’re happy with the design, you’ll sign a low-commitment contract to officially kick things off. But don’t worry—there’s no payment required until your materials are delivered to your door. We offer flexible payment options, including financing, and all invoicing and billing can be conveniently paperless through QuickBooks via email.


Step 5: Welcome to the Apex Family

Once you’re on board, you’ll receive a welcome packet by email. If your project requires HOA approval, we’ve got your back—we help with that at no additional cost. You’ll also receive a copy of our warranty paperwork (which you can always find on our website too).


Step 6: Pre-Construction Walk

Before we start building, we’ll schedule a pre-construction walk to make sure everyone is on the same page—our team, your outdoor specialist, and you. Depending on the complexity of the project and how hands-on you’d like to be, your presence may or may not be required.


Step 7–9: Material Prep & Scheduling

Once we order your materials, we’ll have a clear timeline for delivery and any final HOA approvals. From there, we’ll coordinate with you to lock in a project start date.


Step 10: Build Day!

This is where the magic happens. Our skilled team will bring your design to life with expert craftsmanship and care. Once construction begins, we can provide a more accurate estimate of your project’s completion time.


Step 11: Project Complete—Time to Enjoy
